Summer Pavilion
The Summer Pavilion is located in the beautiful gardens on the upper lawn. This magical venue is like something out of a west coast version of Arabian Nights; white and dreamy. Decorated with hand-painted scenic interior walls, plush sofas and Persian rugs, it provides an intimate gathering area. The Summer Pavilion is available for special events such as weddings or most any other magical event that you could imagine. This venue is ideal for receptions, buffet dinners and dancing. It seats up to 150 people. The Pavilion is available May through September.

The Potlatch Room

Welcome to the Potlatch Room
Our Women of the Woods welcoming totem will greet you as you first enter our Potlatch Room. The First Nations of our area held traditional celebrations called Potlatchs to mark significant events in family’s lives. Join the Philips Family, innkeepers of Sooke Harbour House, in a wedding venue as west coast and as magical as it gets. The Potlatch Room features a beach stone fireplace, cedar walls, douglas fir details, and hardwood floors perfect for dancing upon. The presence of First Nations art in the carvings, glass window etchings, button blankets, and paintings is majestic and takes you back in time. Crisp white linens, complemented by red and black, appeal to the eye. The Potlatch Room is ideal for dinners and receptions with dancing. Plated dinner service is available for up to 60 people. Bar service and stand up hors d’oeuvres receptions are available for up to 80 guests.

The Garden Room; a bright and airy venue

The Garden Room
Local coastal art, fresh flowers, crisp white linens and a refreshing sea breeze; this is just a taste of our Garden Room. It could be the setting of your wedding ceremony, reception or dinner.
In the summer, open the French doors and windows to allow sunlight and ocean breezes to spill in and rejuvenate the body and mind. Plush sofas, Persian carpets and a wood burning fireplace also make the Garden Room perfect for a cozy winter celebration. The Garden Room can be used for a formal seated dinner, or a more casual reception. The venue seats up to 60 for sit down dinners and 80 guests for bar service and stand up hors d’oeuvres receptions.

Main Dining Room

Celebrate in the Dining Room
Have your afternoon wedding ceremony, reception or lunch in our simply elegant yet comfortable dining room. Celebrate in style surrounded by ubiquitous fine art pieces, an overstuffed couch by a glowing fire, cool jazz, and views of the lavender beds leading to the ocean and mountains beyond. The Dining Room can accommodate 150 stand up guests or 100 seated. The Dining Room is available for morning or afternoon weddings only, as regular dining room service will commence at 4:30.
