Upper Gardens Ceremony Venue
Under the Alder Tree Nestled into lush gardens of edible flowers and herbs, this ceremony site faces spectacular 180 degree Pacific Ocean views which are unparalleled. The gentle shade of a mature alder tree offers countless fantastic photographic opportunities, and the scent of fresh herbs and flowers marks the perfect beginning for your marriage. Located close to the main dining room and ‘old house’ of Sooke Harbour House, hors d’oeuvres and celebratory drinks are immediately on hand. Live musicians perform ‘your song’ from a tucked away nook, and a strewn petal aisle is perfectly in keeping with this awe inspiring natural vista.
Lower Gardens Ceremony Venue
Vows by the Sea Our lower gardens provide the perfect location for larger weddings with an awe inspiring mosaic aisle, stunning ocean views, and the scent of fresh herbs and sweet flowers. Seating for your guests is comfortable with garden benches or covered chairs, and awnings, tents, and hoopas can be provided to create the perfect focal point in this natural scene.
The Totem Site Venue
The Totem Site includes 3 luxury Guests Rooms that are situated on the beach level of the resort.
Beautifully situated only a few feet from the ocean and surrounded by our magnificent edible herb an flower gardens, this site’s panoramic view is unmatched. The rental of this space includes the 3 adjacent guest rooms. One may be used as a Bridal Suite to get ready and proceed from, one for the Groom and Groomsmen and the other for a private restroom and quiet area for the convenience of your guests. This site is available after 3pm or special request as early as 1pm.
