Elope at Sooke Harbour House…..

Sooke Harbour House has been welcoming couples looking to escape for intimate wedding ceremonies for 30 years. Our Secret Hearts Elopement Package takes care of all of the little details to make your day truly special and memorable. Our Little White Inn on the Edge of the Pacific is the perfect place surrounded by Nature to celebrate your sharing of vows.

Our Secret Hearts Package includes the following:

• One night stay in one of our 28 unique guest rooms
• Bottle of sparkling wine awaiting your arrival
• Couples Swedish massage in the comfort and privacy of your room
• A beautiful Wedding ceremony in our gardens or fireside in our Garden Room
• Witnesses for your vows
• Bouquet & boutonniere created by our in house florist
• Dinner for Two in our award winning Dining Room
• Wedding Cake for two
• Romantic Turn Down

We also offer assistance from our Elopement Coordinator to help you take care of the details for your special day.
The price will depend on your room selection but ranges from $879.00 – $1230.00

We suggest our eloping couples to stay at least 2 nights with the ceremony the day after their arrival to truly feel relaxed and present for their vows.
A massage the morning of your ceremony can help to relax you and ease any nerves.
Most of our bouquets are created from the flowers we grow here in our gardens, but if you let your coordinator know what your favourites are (colour, variety, and style of bouquet) we will do our best to accommodate.
For your romantic wedding night dinner, we change our Menu daily according to our Food Philosophy using only local, fresh, organic and seasonal ingredients.
You can generally choose from a chocolate or a white cake, but if you have a particular favourite, I can always go to our Pastry Chef to see what is possible. Matthias is a true artist and will present a beautiful creation for your traditional, and intimate, cake cutting ceremony.

You would be responsible for contacting and making arrangements with an Officiant. There are 2 BC Licensed Marriage Commissioners in Sooke who perform Civic Ceremony’s. You could also choose a Lay Chaplin who does a non-denominational spiritual Ceremony. This is their contact information:
