Slow Food Terra Madre Dinner at Sooke Harbour House Dec 10th, 2011
Join us around a communal table to celebrate Terra Madre Day on Saturday, Dec. 10th , 7:00pm at Sooke Harbour House.
The dinner will feature seasonal Canadian Slow Food Ark products and artisanal foods from regional Slow Food Terra Madre producers.

Join Master Pastry Chef Matthias Conradi for a Gingerbread House Making
Workshop held in the kitchen of Sooke Harbour House.
You will create your very own gingerbread house to keep and enjoy. Learn
the process from start to finish: make stencils, master perfect ginger
bread dough, icing, designs, technique and methods. You will get to work
hands-on, in the kitchen, beside one of the most experienced and talented
pastry chefs.
Take this opportunity to be creative, to have fun, to learn, and to make a
very unique gift for someone you love or for yourself. It is always fun
baking together.
The cost of the workshop is $130.00
Time: December 14th from 1:00 pm to (approx.) 6:00 pm
