We discovered Carl’s incredible focus quite a few years ago before he went to Staford’s cooking school. While in High school in Sooke, he took the Culinary Program that Edward Milne Community School offers and during the summer apprenticed ,with the recommendation of Pia Carroll instructor and chef of the Culinary program, at our restaurant the Sooke Harbour House. Our kitchen team then knew that Carl was going to become one of the best Canadian chef! Such focus and drive with a very nice personality, a great combination. We all wish him great success on the Top Chef competition. He has already achieved quite a lot for his young age.
