Susan Taylor has lived to paint on South Pender Island since 1997 when she left her position at Simon Fraser University to pursue a life in art. Since then, private and corporate marine life and flower enthusiasts and “Foodies” have been collecting her work.

In 1999, with her partner Frank Ducote, she opened the Blood Star Gallery on South Pender Island. Susan is an Active Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Her work can be seen year round at the Blood Star Gallery.
