Johanne Audet created the 8 foot tall Orca ,the main feature of the Sooke to Port Renfrew Booth at the Ozone space part of the BC Streets showcase in Richmond during the Olympic Games. A 20′x40′ booth is a striking representation of what you find in our Sooke to Port Renfrew region. Pristine wilderness, miles and miles of hiking trails, of beaches, incredible fishing – especially great this winter because of its so mild and calm weather!, surfing, yes Jordan River and Warm Sombrio Beach, an underwater world especially in the winter when the seaweed and kelp beds are gone full of psychedelic colours and abundant underwater life, we have a great scuba diving shop in Sooke: Scuba Stu’s (wwwscubastu.com) , a large variety of whales from Orcas to Humpbacks……. visit us at Sooke Harbour House soon.
