AURAFIDÉLITÉ ARINDAM was born and raised in the province of Ontario. Her interest in art began at an early age when she was surrounded by her very talented artistic family. She later moved to Montreal for her Master’s studies at McGill University. Academically accomplished, she worked for several years in the private and public sector. In 1991, she moved with her husband to James Bay in Victoria, British Columbia. For several years, they worked for a UNESCO-sponsored project whose aim was to bring human unity and peace between various nations of the world.

Aurafidélité is a member of the Botanical Artists of Canada. She is featured as an artist in the July/August 2009 issue of Victoria’s James Bay Beacon newspaper. Her artwork has been successfully exhibited and sold privately and publicly. During the 2009 summer she is exhibiting her artwork at Emily Carr House, the James Bay

"Lady Slipper Orchids" - Coloured Pencils $595.00 CAD

Community Centre and for a group exhibit at Serious Coffee in James Bay, Victoria, British Columbia. Her botanical artwork is for sale at the Legacy Art Gallery and Café giftshop (a University of Victoria establishment). She will show and sell her artwork in her art studio for the 2009 James Bay Art Walk during the Labour Day weekend, on September 5th and 6th, from 11am to 5pm. In March 2010, she will exhibit her orchid drawings for the Victoria Annual Orchid Show at the University of Victoria in British Columbia. She is a member of the Victoria Orchid Society.
