Lois is a full time Encaustic Painter and teacher who creates one of a kind paintings in the ancient technique of beeswax. Encaustic is a Greek word meaning “burn in”. This ancient method of working with wax requires a quickness using a molten hot medium of beeswax, resin and pigment.
