Diane Adolph was born in Calgary, Alberta in 1962. Exploring the world of art and design at an early age led Diane to Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she accepted a position in the creation of a large commission of stained glass church windows. In 1980, Diane moved to Victoria, British Columbia, bringing with her a strong sense of colour and form that would greatly influence the future palette of her work. Diane completed a three year program with a Diploma of Fine Art, from the Victoria College of Art. It is there her unique style and bold use of colour, recognized now in her cityscapes and still-life fully emerged. Impressed with her style and use of colour Island Art Publishers signed Diane on in the spring of 2005, further enhancing her career by promoting her work across Canada, US and parts of Europe. Today, Diane dedicates herself to painting full time, bringing beautiful art into the homes and workplaces of her clients.
